Ingredients for Curd Rice Recipe or Yogurt Rice Recipe: –

  • 1 cup cooked rice (1 कप चावल पकाया) )
  • 2 cups plain curd(yoghurt) (2 कप सादा दही )
  • 1/4 cup milk, 2 green chillies (1/4 कप दूध, 2 हरी मिर्च) )
  • 1 inch ginger (1 इंच अदरक) )
  • 2 tablespoons grated coconut (2 बड़े चम्मच कसा हुआ नारियल) )
  • 1 teaspoon mustard seeds( 1 चम्मच सरसों के बीज) )
  • 1 teaspoon urad dal (1 चम्मच उड़द दाल)
  • 1 teaspoon channa dal (1 चम्मच चना दाल) )
  • few coriander leaves ( कुछ हरा धनिया) )
  • few curry leaves (कुछ करी पत्ते) )
  • 2 tablespoons oil and salt to taste (2 बड़े चम्मच तेल और नमक स्वाद के लिए) )


How to prepare Curd Rice Recipe or Yogurt Rice: –

You have to chop the green chillies, ginger and coriander separately and set it aside, Now take a frying pan and pour the oil in it, when it bring to heat and when the oil is very hot add the mustard and let it crackle, Now next you have to add the urad dal, channa dal, curry leaves and sauté till the ingredients turn brown, Also Put the green chillies now in it, add coriander,ginger and sauté till they are cooked. now you have to turn off the flame and add the cooked rice. also you have to add the salt and grated coconut in it and mix it well. before serving you have to add the curd and milk in it. If you want curd rice while traveling or to send it to school lunch box then pour two cups of milk and quarter cup curd. the milk would have turned into curd at the time of eat. You can Garnish with pomegranate seeds, grapes or grated carrot..
