Aloo Sabzi Recipe (आलू की सब्ज़ी) Potato Bhaji Recipe

    Ingredients for Aloo Sabzi Recipe (आलू की सब्ज़ी): –

  • 3 Large potatoes (3 बड़े आलू)
  • 4 green chillies (4 हरी मिर्च)
  • 1 tablespoon ginger garlic paste (1 चम्मच अदरक लहसुन पेस्ट)
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice (2 चम्मच नींबू का रस)
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds (1/2 चम्मच जीरा)
  • 1/2 teaspoon mustard (1/2 चम्मच सरसों)
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric (1/2 चम्मच हल्दी)
  • 1/2 teaspoon chopped mint leaves (1/2 चम्मच कटा टकसाल पत्ते)
  • 2 teaspoons chopped coriander leaves (2 चम्मच कटा हरा धनिया)
  • 10 curry leaves (10 करी पत्ते)
  • 2 pinches asafoetida (2 चुटकी हींग)
  • 2 tablespoons oil and salt to taste (2 बड़े चम्मच तेल और नमक स्वाद के लिए)


How to prepare Aloo Sabzi Recipe : –

Start with Boiling the potatoes and then let it cool. Now peel them and cut them into medium sized cubes. Now take a frying pan and pour the oil and bring to heat. When the oil is nice and hot add the mustard and let it crackle. Now you have to add the cumin seeds and cook till it turns golden brown. Then put the ginger garlic paste in it. Sauté at regular intervals. Finely chop the chillies, add it and cookit for a minute. Now put the coriander, curry leaves and mint leaves. Sauté till an aroma begins to rise. Now you have to add the potato cubes. Sprinkle turmeric, lemon juice and salt to taste and stir well. Cook till the oil begins to leave the edges. Add some more coriander and stir once and serve hot.
